Following the success of the first-generation M12, which sold out tens of thousands of units, the improved M12i overcomes the performance, cost, and size limitations of phone-specific integrated audio circuits. With Questyle's unique Current Mode Amplification combined with the ESS flagship USB DAC chip, the M12i allows users to enjoy true lossless audio content from streaming platforms with any HiFi headphone, ensuring the best audio experience.
The "i" in M12i indicates that it has been certified for the Apple MFi standard. MFi certification ensures perfect support for iPhone/iPad and seamless integration into the Apple ecosystem. It complies with Apple's stringent requirements for external devices, especially in terms of power consumption, to avoid the risk of damage to phones and connected systems from arbitrary USB device pairings.
During development, Questyle Labs conducted extensive testing and optimization of the M12i's compatibility with mainstream smartphones and tablets. High compatibility is ensured with iOS, HarmonyOS, and Android versions 5.1 and above. As for computer systems, it supports Windows 10 (version 18.3) and above w/o driver, and Mac OS. As a result, Hi-Fi headphone users can enjoy true lossless audio content from streaming platforms anytime and anywhere.
The M12i is not constrained by the power limitations of op-amp (operational amplifier) chips used in competing products, thanks to the independently developed Current Mode Amplification module.The M12i has ultra-low distortion of 0.0003% and extremely high current output capacity.
Due to Questyle's patented Current Mode Amplification and TOREX‘s efficient power management system, the M12i features high performance with low power consumption. This greatly lowers the risks of overheating and signal interruption during extended use.

When M12i detects an impedance less than 70Ω, it automatically sets to low-gain output;When greater than 70Ω, it automatically sets to high-gain output, and for 600Ω and above, it automatically switches to 2Vrms line output.
